I am SO disgusted! We have sat through all the rubbish on the Jools Holland Later show just to see Bill Medley from the wonderful Righteous Brothers ("You've lost that loving feeling") and all the time they allowed him was about 4 measly minutes with an interview and a blues song ("I just wanna make love to you") singing with Jools accompanying him on the piano.

Bill Medley was on Breakfast programme yesterday and they advertised the fact he would be on the Jools programme tonight. What a waste of our time .... most of the hour long programme we sat with the mute button on as the other artists (apart from Sting) were so dire!
How disappointed he must have felt!

They probably wanted him to do more but he wouldn't / couldn't.
Never heard of Jools Holland.

I HAVE heard of Bill Medley.

This Holland person would deserve a pass in the future.

That you "sat with the mute button on as the other artists were so dire" is an amusing concept.
Similarly, I've never read any Douglas Adams books, because they're rubbish.
Here you go tambo....the original!!

We had to, as we didn't know if and when he would be playing again in the programme, after his one song half way through. The other artists had 3 or 4 spots in the programme.
Maybe at 72, 1 slot of 4 minutes was all he could manage?

No Mass, I think he is in the UK for a tour.
sorry Ann, was just a thought, didn't see the show
Even if he'd wanted to sing more tracks I'm sure he'd have known the deal before he appeared on the programme so he must have felt it was worth doing. Most artists only get one or two songs on the programme. It's a shame though f you area real fan- I remember as a youngster sitting through an hour long religious programme because they said Marc Bolan was on, and it turned out to be a 30 second interview about nothing to do with music. Maybe you should try to catch him on tour
