Yet another train stranded for hours, running out of supplies and broken toilets. That is my worst nightmare. As a diabetic, I always carry spare food with me for emergencies, but don't know how I would manage with no toilets. I simply cannot last longer than 2 -3 hours without 'spending a penny'. Just in case it ever happens to me, can anyone who may have been in a similar situation tell me how they coped. I think I would just open the carriage door and nip over to a field!

you'd not be able to do that - the doors are centrally locked.
