Yet more astronomical figures for salary and other expenses for the boss of a government owned company.
And how/why was she allowed expenses towards flights to Canada? As she's earning enough and now in charge of a company in this country, did she really need or deserve the extra help?

the usual situation where it seems that this calibre of person will only do a half-arsed job for a very high salary, in this case £ 1/2 million, and they need even more money in the form of a big bonus to put the effort in to do it properly
what makes you think she's only done a half-arsed job? The figures Gromit quoted seem quite satisfactory.
Vince Cable has been a terrible let down.

Wasting his time over a generous perk (which is a piddling amount in the scheme of things) he should be out there helping businesses and trying to kick start a stagnant economy.

Instead, he is interfering in the running of a successful company, probably driving its CEO away in the process. Grabs Mr Cable a few favourable headlines and impresses the jealous short termists but really we have an impotent business secretary who is just p*ssing in the wind.
