// Court of appeal rejects home secretary's attempt to overturn decision to block radical cleric's deportation

The home secretary, Theresa May, has lost her latest legal attempt to deport the radical Islamist cleric Abu Qatada back to Jordan.

The court of appeal rejected her attempt to overturn a ruling by the British special immigrations appeals commission (Siac) blocking Qatada's return to Jordan to stand trial on the grounds that he faced a real risk of evidence obtained by torture being used against him.

The home secretary's appeal was rejected unanimously by three appeal court judges including the master of the rolls, Lord Dyson. //

And still this piece of garbage who is a threat to the country is laughing at us all the way to the bank with the tens of thousands of pounds he leeches of us in benefits every year.

what a farce
farce as well as all the other trash we are keeping...
It's regrettable that some of the extremists at the fringes of our society don't respect the British judicial system or the judgements of our most senior Law Lords.

Very un-British
Is it really that difficult to get assurances from Jordan that Quatty will have a fair trial?

When the King of Jordan was in the UK last December, it was said that talks would resolve the matter. But weren't. What happened?
Most of our law lords are a*ses. They interpret the law in the right-on lefty liberal way that people like you Zehul(in the minority) love.

Perhaps you would like to pay more taxes to support this man so those that dont want to dont have to.
perhaps they can't give the assurance.
Well, if Lord Dyson is involved, does this leave some sort of vacuum?
On a serious note, there is going to be a time when Qatada is going to declare he is being persecuted by the British Govt and will, hopefully, move somewhere else - but who would have him (apart from Jordan)
/They interpret the law in the right-on lefty liberal way that people like you Zehul(in the minority) love./

Yes

We continue to get our 'right on' way - good isn't it? I like it.

/Perhaps you would like to pay more taxes to support this man so those that dont want to dont have to. /

You're fussing about costs that are trivial in the overall scheme of things

Perhaps you should focus on what really matters such as upholding our long fought-for Laws and standards of behaviour
"The Appeal Court judges described him as a “very dangerous person”

jordan may have got evidence alledgedy gained by torture.

no proof of it whatsover (even if they did I couldnt care less)but these fools are happy to risk the lives of UK citizens over this scumbag

they should hold their heads in shame

/torture... I couldnt care less/

easy to see why you're not a judge then baz

/to risk the lives of UK citizens/

precisely which UK citizens are at risk from this man and how?

and if simply kicking him out of UK is the objective, how would that reduce any supposed risk?
Is there anyone in the British Judicial system who is on our side? It is just supposition that Jordan wll put the scummy B*stard on the rack. Which country wouldn't (apart from Afghanistan).
/on our side?/

which side is your side gran?

'British respect for the rule-of-law'?

or

'British we-don't-care-about-torture'?
Like I said on the other thread

If we have evidence against him that we can't use in open court then when the Justice and security bill becomes law he can be tried behind closed doors here.

I suspect that's the case because everybody keeps saying how dangerous he is and the evidence against him that we know about seems to rely on some pretty shady characters saying ' he encouraged me to do it' after they'd enjoyed the hospitality of the Jordainian Police.

(Frankly I'd imagine they's say Margaret Thatcher was the ringleader if they thought that'd get them off)

The last thing we want to do is kick him out of the country as a free man where he can just vanish
Where have the ''It's all the fault of Europe'' mob gone ?
/Where have the ''It's all the fault of Europe'' mob gone ?/

Wednesday is still half-day closing in Little England
Little England we may be zeul, and I like it that way. We don't want or need trash like Abu Q staying here. Once upon a time we could kick out all undesirables without kowtowing to anyone. No-one wants him here except maybe his hangers on who also need to be kicked out. I don't give a flying **** about who may torture him. It's torture having rubbish like him here. How much is he worth in 5 bedroomed houses and Benefits supplied by me and all the hardworking people struggling to make a living here, while spewinghis hatred for the West.
/Once upon a time we could kick out all undesirables /

Whe 'we' gran?

You?

Or the laws of Britain and Law Lords of Britain and 1000 years of rights, statutes and structures that we all live within - they are the authorities making these decisions gran

If you are not on their side, whose side are You on?
And that's the problem with little Englanders - they think what's outside England can't hurt them

I don't believe Osama Bin Laden was ever in the US didn't protect them much did it?

If you kick him out of the country Gran and he helps bring down a BA flight what are you going to say to the relatives?

'Sorry but at least he isn't costing the tax payer money for a council house?'

BTW PML at half day closing for little Englanders! :c)
Has he moved into a newer and larger free house yet? lol you could not make it up!
