I'm a cheapskate; I'll go via the library - or what about online......next thing is that AOG will have a news thread on you! Dread to think what he could dream up.
I would like to see it but I cannot get out to get a newspaper so I shall have to resort to some other scheme. Hope someone does post it so that I can have a look (my usual nosiness I am sorry to say).
You look suitably unhappy gordie1. Quite rightly too.
I think we have become a little hysterical in our bids to all become mr and mrs anonymous.

gordie is an adult, he may not feel the need to hide every little part of his existence.
It's just a pity that the reporter and photographer didn't take a picture of you and your little cat. :-)

It's amazing how I always seem to get dragged into the argument.

What is more amazing though is the outcry that I would have attracted if I had entered a thread such as this.

ie "WHAT'S THE QUESTION"?

" THIS IS NOT NEWS"

"ARE WE IN THE LEAST INTERESTED"?

Etc, Etc, Etc.
You shouldn't be amazed, aog, after all this time. You serve as an honoured point of reference.

gordie, at least nobody on here is suggesting that you read and believe everything you read in the Daily Mail. And, anyway, there's now one report you can believe in.

From the contributions in Answerbank you can usually tell the approx age, sex obviously, their education, current or previous job, interests, likes and dislikes and prejudices and sometimes health. I'm sure the vision of that person would be quite accurate with that sort of identikit..
Well done gordie1.
