Well here is another minority view. This site is primarily a 'Left-Wing' site with strong political correct liberal views, and anyone who does not agree with their views are generally labelled Racist, Fascist, etc. so it is not at all surprising at the answers you have received, But then this has already been highlighted by such comments to you as: "If you...

Are you in the US, midage?

General opinion as far as I can see is that he's OK.
In a poll on Answerbank just before the US elections I recall that Obama was by far the preferred candidate here.
Welcome to AB, by the way!

Atlanta GA ...USA. yes. i see this is a site hosted in UK. are users primarily from UK?
Tall, dark and handsome too!
As far as I could see he was the best option. I like him.
I think he's sober and hardworking, perhaps too self-effacing for a national leader (he doesn't use the bully pulpit of the presidency as enthusiastically as he might); he got health reforms through, he hasn't conquered the global recession, but it took years to create so I wasn't expecting him to. I think the USA is in good hands.

There are however several billion other people on the planet, all real, who might conceivably disagree with me.
Mostly yes, midage - but a smattering fromright across the world, too.
Yes, we are primarily in the UK.
I like him, and it helps he is easy on the eye!
His efforts to provide better health care for poorer Americans have been blocked by vested interests. Any action he proposes against the availability of semi-automatic weapons will probably suffer the same fate.
The checks and balances that restrain him don't always work in the best interests of the people.
After barmy Bush, he's a breath of fresh air.
I like him.
I like him too. Agree that he is generally well thought of the UK.
He's OK by me. I have Anglo-American family in the mid-west who really like him too, chiefly because of his healthcare reforms. They see our system actually working and understand what he's trying to achieve.
This expat thinks he's the best the US has had in a while.

wow......thanks for the responses. i am shocked that seems he has 100 percent approval over there. in uk what is the main source of political information about usa? i will bet that fox news is not there. haha.
Well he couldn't be much worse than that last muppet....
I like him, anyone that is trying to bring in healthcare reforms and wants guns off the streets is a good guy in my book. Fox News, I think that equals Sky News over here!
I like his gentle, friendly and firm manner in dealing with most situations. He's a credit to global leaders.
