Can such conduct really be justified? Is there really any discernible difference in these rioters to those whose behaviour blighted our cities last year?

Aren't all of these kinds of individuals not just waiting for a supposed 'excuse' to indulge in extreme lawlessness, blatant destruction of property, widespread and flagrant thievery, arson etc ?

What possesses anyone to similarly, so say, 'protest' in such vile and reprehensible fashion even in democracies such as ours?

I was watching channel 4 news tonight. In the coverage of the protests there was a man holding a placard which said..

'Slash the throats of the blasphemers. Spill their blood'.

He did look like a peaceful chap. He probably likes to put some some chill out music on while he's slashing the blasphemer's throats.

it might be superstition, but many are being killed, and it would appear that they are the ones responsible. indeed look at Syria, who knows the rights and wrongs of the situation there, but many are dying, and aren't they all Muslim?

there won't be peace until someone decides to call a truce, wonder who that will be. Don't see why President Obama, or Hilary Clinton have to keep on apologising. It won't make a scrap of difference.

You're right, they've been apologising for about a week but what good has it done? Yes, I believe they were right to do so, but it would seem as if these rioters are hell bent on doing as much destruction as possible, and if I, as a westerner, was anywhere near the Middle East, I reckon I'd be taking giant strides towards the nearest airport.

Just heard on Beeb News that the mob allegedly responsible for the US Ambassador's recent murder 'rejects democracy'.

DT, for once Kerosene is right no one is going to win in this one. And as far as i can see neither President Obama or Hilary Clinton had anything to do with this stupid film. My feeling is that the people will riot at any rate, and any excuse will do.
