WPC Yvonne Fletcher, PC Stephen Tibble, PC Keith Blakelock, WPC Nina MacKay, PC Raja Ahmed, DC Stephen Oake, WPC Sharon Beshenivsky.

Just some of the serving UK Police Officers who, in recent memory, have given their lives in the line of duty to their communities - all murdered, some in a most brutal fashion, right here in the UK.

So, how many of their loving families have carried out a relentless campaign through the media - or in any other fashion - to make money......ooops....'get justice' for their beloved son/daughter/father/mother/brother etc?

And does anyone think for a split second that the grieving families of WPCs Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes won't 'close ranks' and do exactly the same?

Ring any bells, folks?

they don't do it perhaps because as serving officers it comes with the territory. No one wants deaths of police officers, but equally no one wants deaths of innocent bystanders
Have any of the officers you've listed been denied justice?
The bell this rings draws our attention to a thug who wasn't fit to be mentioned in the same post as these fine men and women who gave their lives in the service of the public.
no one has been caught for the murder of Yvonne Fletcher, wasn't it because the shooter was protected by diplomatic immunity, and got out before anything could be done.
Yes - very sad and awful for their families

Though deep sea fishermen, farm workers and builders etc might remark on how short a list it is compared with the one resulting from their colleagues' 'service to their communities'

<<So, how many of their loving families have carried out a relentless campaign through the media - or in any other fashion - to make money......ooops....'get justice' for their beloved son/daughter/father/mother/brother etc? >>

Wouldn't dependents of police officers killed in the line of duty <make money> from the compensation/widows pensions etc they were due?

<<ooops....'get justice'>>

Hasn't justice been done in these cases wherever possible?

some outstanding e.g.

Yvonne Fletcher - Embassy/Libya = difficult
Keith Blakelock - didn't the police cock that one up when they tried to frame the wrong man?

Anyway, I admire your persistence kero and in return I will definitely buy tickets to the Police Ball this year

Some predictable responses from a few posters so far - leopards/spots etc?
C'mon PC Kerosene, most of the points have been quite reasonable so far?

We all know how the nedia works?
Media.
Kerosene the only predictability in this thread is yours. As I said in a post last night, that I don't expect you can be bothered to read, you're a bit of a one trick pony, plus you are doing a wonderful single handed job of putting everyone off the police with your nonsense.
It really is becoming a little repetitive now.
Hear! Hear! Duncer, Nox, Baldric, em and sandy

I quite like the police - but kero's pathological posting is starting to put me right off!

<Some predictable responses from a few posters so far>

< a few> LOL Well everyone but kero it seems

and a predictable lack of reasoned response from the OP

Heaven help us - kero could be to the Police what Rebelsouls is to TV Licence fee refuseniks
"WPC Yvonne Fletcher, PC Stephen Tibble, PC Keith Blakelock, WPC Nina MacKay, PC Raja Ahmed, DC Stephen Oake, WPC Sharon Beshenivsky. "

As far as I can recall, none of them were beaten to death by serving police officers, and none of their deaths were attributed to natural causes by a discredited pathologist.
zeuhl, you are aware that our friend is a former policeman...
oh yes!
Kerosene - what a despicable creep you are. You started this thread purely to be able to voice the ''make money . . . ooops'' once again. Grow up, show respect. Strange how the ulterior motives are foremost in your mind and in your words. Never a fair or decent word to be said to or for anyone.

I bet you were a great cop - labelling everyone you came into contact as suspicious wrong-dooers; never considering there was a genuine reason for an incident to have happened to an innocent person.

As I said yesterday, I never did believe that ACAB - but now . . . .
A tad harsh sir.prize.

When you spend years working with lowlives an almost osmosis like process leads you to be very suspicious, if not think like them altogether, although you have to try to when on duty. I'll excuse Kerosene to a point, although I think he is wrong in this instance.
one thing i would add, i would not be a police officer for love nor money, not ever.
You should have been on his thread last night Duncer, truly shocking level of arrogance and ignorance which does the reputation of the police no favours.
"one thing i would add, i would not be a police officer for love nor money, not ever."

Neither would I em, and I am not. However, I do work with some "unfortunates", in fact lots of them on a daily basis, so I was just trying to put myself in his position of being very suspicious.

NOX, I'll get round to last night's thread soon, but this afternoon drinking is playing havoc with my cognitive ability. Mrs D and I return to work on Monday so we're "filling our boots" as it were.

You see, fellow ABers? There are those who wish to make sensible contributions to a thread of the utmost seriousness; and then again there are those who choose to simply spend their time and contributions, instead, slagging me off by way of personal insult?

Then they may perhaps wonder why I don't reply to them directly? Instead, they seem to just carry on, ad nauseum, with their flagrant insults and puerile comments. When will they ever learn?
Duncer - I respect your views, but it's unfair to criticise me. Kerosene started it.

This is his fourth thread in a couple of days in which he has raised the same topic and aggressively put his views. All opposing opinions have been met with rejection and silly leopards/spots jibes.

Amusingly the 'leopard/spots' is more applicable to PC Kero himself.

Duncer, you do not seem to have yet caught up with the 'A Tawdy Lust For Fame' thread. Kerosene really gets inflammable on there. He must be a very angry individual.
