Just watching a spot of weightlifting and some of the "female" weightlifters are dubious to say the least!

One looks like a cross between Bernie Winters & Alfred Molina, another strongly resembles Les Dawson with about a month's growth on "her" chin, with only about two of them looking anywhere feminine at all - and those aren't winning, funnily enough?

Do they actually bother with gender testing any more? The mind boggles!

perhaps the idea of female weightlifters doesn't appeal, but they are bound to look somewhat muscular and large, it's in the nature of the sport. If they stopped doing it the weight comes off, muscles go back to be the female sort. Our girl wasn't that bad looking, have you had a look at some of the blokes, whew..

The blokes don't really interest me as do the 'ladies' - if you get my drift?
i do, let me find the youtube clip i just looked at....

A photo of moi??? You'd need smelling salts!!!
bit hypocritical of you then isn't?
she is quite pretty to look at, not interested in her or the sport particularly but they aren't all blokey
Question Author
Nah, that Swedish weightlifting gel would never get in the Olympics - far too attractive - way too feminine - she'd get beaten up by her 'fellow competitors'!!!
no pleasing some people.
Question Author
Hypocritcal? Moi? Maybe I'm just being modest???
I disagree eyethenkyew, I saw her in the warm up and her snatch was amazing.
There are different classes for the competitors weight, which are...
48.1 kg (106 lb)
53.123 kg (117 lb)
58 kg (128 lb)
63 kg (139 lb)
69 kg (152 lb)
75 kg (165 lb)
and over 75 kg

I shouldn't think many in the lower classes are going to look "manly"!

(and I knew somebody would do the snatch joke)
