when the benefits bill is 3 times the whole defence budget, surely savings can be made by cutting benefits to the career workshy.

Yes, that is true. But cut benefits and all the lefty limp writed liberals wil lbe up in arms, I mean, just how will you average muslim hate monger get by wit benefits?
And by the same toke the same lot will be chuffed to bits we cant defend ourselves. Afterall we can get bits of paper to say we are safe !
thought the government had already cut benefits, and to quite a degree. Just shows the scale of the mess the previous government got us into
Yes, youngmafbog, that's right. The left want to destroy the country and make everyone as miserable as possible by dumping money on hate preachers and the workshy. After all, who else receives benefits? It's not there are any disabled people or areas where work is genuinely hard to come by. They're all just lazy and feckless and if they're not, then they're muslim. Which is worse.

Oh, and left wing people also hate the idea of the country being defended - or any conception of public safety really - and just want it all to disintegrate in some kind of weird anarchist bloodlust. Or something like that anyway, what do I know? There is no other possible explanation for wanting defence spending reduced. None at all.

What a tired and stupid level of nonsensical misinformation you spout.
The liberal bunch always moan if we take action. Just look at the BBC. The liberal left (not the left as you twisted ito) do not like violence at all, they believe (the vast majority) that it can all be solved by dialogue

I have no problem for genuine disabled people getting benefit but it is proven they are not all genuine. As fo no work in an area, get off your backside and find it. I did, I have spent most of the last 20 years chasin work around the country and abroad if required. My familly had to stay put as we could not afford to keep moving them.

Yes, I overegged it to prove a point but not exactly nonsense is it?
Once upon a time you could sign up to be a reservist and as well as getting pocket money you could go for a couple of weeks training in some remote part of England. Not any more! You can find yourself fighting alongside front line troops having your head blown off and all for a small pittance.

Reminds you of those poor young lads working for next to nothing camped out under London Bridge.
Of course this includes the TA ...Territorial Army
