So it is International Women's Day.

Excuse me but is their an International Men's Day?

And if there was chaps, what issues should we be fighting for?

Well for starters we could demand more washing instruction labels such as this, it would make life so much easier.

lol....I think Ted Baker used to put similar things in their labels. Very funny :-)
Think your second link explains perfectly why there is an International Women's Day. Think you need to change your name to stupidoldgit!
Come on. you know every day is women's day. At least around this part of the world.

This was only a laugh.

No need to be so insulting you silly woman, get a life.
"Think your second link explains perfectly why there is an International Women's Day. "

What, you've never seen a joke poking fun at men? You need to have a women's day to protect you from jokes?
Ha ha love that label ...
That's funny, I reckon my OH thinks it's already written there.
It is very clearly a tongue in cheek post from AOG - its just a bit of fun, and the label in the second link shouldn't upset anybody other than the most ardent, militant, humourless feminists.......who should be ignored anyway.
maggie ...

I think AOG has just been having a little dig at The Guardian.

Can't think why!!

LOL

"And if there was chaps, what issues should we be fighting for?"

This is the most interesting part of the question, I'd be interested as to what others think.
I thought it was funny............
Yes there is. I'm surprised you didn't know. It's Nov 19th

We should fight......

For the right....................................

To Paaartay! :)
I've also found another Mens Day

http://www.minbu.connectfree.co.uk/holiday.htm
And this year, I think we should be fighting for:

the right to change our minds about anything at the last minute

the right to be particularly grumpy for three days every month

the right to 15 minutes before the end of every work day to go into the loos and get ready for going home
LOL
Can't see the problem here, washing IS womans work
of course it is, in your dreams.
In reality actually em10, never worked a washing machine in my life

.......and why should I when I have a woman who can?
well more fool her,
