What a waste of money in the current climate..... £7m over 10 years to "hire" two giant pandas from China? Another good use of the Scottish taxpayers money? IMO yes & yes!!

What I can't understand is why the need to transport these two Pandas thousands of miles from China to Scotland, so as to breed, why couldn't they have been left in China?

Scotland have waited ages for this and have found £7m to acheive it. They have them for 10 years and then they go back.

There are thousands of endangered species in the world, but most don't get much attention, as they don't look cute and cuddly.

I reckon pandas were designed by a committee.

are the trams to get buses off the road in edinburgh last time i was there princess street was end to end with buses both ways , worse than manchester and thats saying something!
