I'm just watching a program about kids that live entirely on fast food. One "family" is a single mum, nice flat, 2 kids, who never cooks because it's easier to get a take away, she's had a heart attack herself, FF_S, her 2 kid eat 3500 calories a day, most of it in salt, fat and sugar How can she afford to live like this on benefits? I couldn't afford it! Still think we aren't a soft touch?

If she has another one she will move up the list and may get a house with a garden. One day you will understand what is happening in the real world and not class the single unemployed as workshy scum.
Lazy sods, not being taught how to cook or care for children. I think they need manuals with everything nowadays. My mother taught me how to do things and we had lessons for cookery and housekeeping at school. They ought to realize that all this fast food is not only expensive but no good for growing children.

Come on Gromit, it's a well known career path for young "ladies" these days

Question Author
yes I pay taxes and I am well used to paying for workshy scum, am I supposed to like that? Am I supposed to have some sort of warm feeling over what our society has become?
You are not that thick Geezer, I am having such a laugh at you buying the kids next meal.
Only when they start setting your house on fire R1.
Question Author
With all that glee I can only assume I pay for you too. What part of the WSS budget do you leech from?
Nothing to me.
Please don't tar everyone with the same brush, I an one of six children, my mum works full time to provide for them, although she would be better off not working. I agree though that there are too many people that decide not to work as they get more money by not doing so. It's that situation that needs to be resolved x
