I have supported him for a long time, but am beginning to wonder, my question now is; Is he a jerk?

neither do i mamy, neither do i,
vote for the Labour party next time and see what kind of mess they can make of things.
Emmie , You seem to be obsessed with Boris ?.
Have you got a problem ?.
Why has your opinion changed khandro? Put a bit of context around the question.
you are the one obsessed with Boris for some odd reason. Quite frankly it borders on creepy
The trouble is that Boris and co have not slavishly followed the scientific advice. They have cherry-picked what advice to follow. And they have not always chosen wisely. IMHO, of course.
perhaps they havent done the right things for all the people, and its confusing this tier 1, tier 2 stuff, i find it so, i am sure others do as well
Yes Boris is a Jerk.
there you have it in a nutshell Khandro.
can the party change leader any time soon
Diddlydo 23.11 , Spot on.
Emmie - the tier stuff isn't confusing. It's just totally illogical and heartless. It prohibits parents and grand-parents from seeing their nearest and dearest in controlled and sensible situations (i.e. indoors with social distancing in the depths of winter) and yet will allow any number of people from 3 different households to meet over a 5 day window at Christmas which is completely insane.
gawd elp us the brains trust has spoken!
its confusing for most, going on the posts on ab as a small snapshot of the country as a whole. People interviewed on TV news don't know what tier they are in or indeed if they can see their loved ones at Christmas.
why did you support him to start with Khandro, and why have you changed your opinion...
can you imagine the state we'd be in Catweazle had won?
Emmie - I don't know who you've seen interviewed on TV but if anyone is in any doubt about which tier they're in or whether they can see their loved ones at Christmas they have even fewer brain cells than many on AB.
None of the following is going to happen, but...

If 15% of Tory MPs (or 55) decided that they wanted to trigger a no-confidence vote in Johnson, they could submit that tomorrow, hold the vote on Tuesday, and force a leadership election that day if 50%+1 voted against Johnson.

What happens after depends presumably on how many Tory MPs want to stand for leadership. If there were only one I can't see that there'd need to be a protracted campaign; if not, then the process would take somewhere up to two months.

This won't happen (at least not any time soon), and I don't even believe that it *should*. Better for Johnson to get his act together than for the Conservatives to waste a few months on infighting.
you have such a low opinion on many on AB its a wonder your participate at all.
on that last paragraph i whole heartedly concur.
