Has anyone else stopped watching the news bulletins?

I watch the headlines and then switch off. I find it all so depressing.

I’m thinking of starting a Cheerful Clique. Glass half-full people are very welcome - the miserable need not apply.

It did just get depressing...

I'm hesitant about saying that it would be nice to have some news, other than Corona virus, because I would probably be shouted down as being insensitive, but I'm not insensitive to peoples' suffering. There must be other things going on in the world.

I watch as much news as I feel I should and no more.

I watch the mid day news and then switch off, don’t want to be going to bed with all the doom and gloom in my head.
So yes, I’ll join your cheerful clique, I’m always a glass half full person, albeit quite quietly. I don’t like confrontation and can’t be bothered with arguments.
