well he's probably got a special place somewhere!
'Well they're not laughing now!' Again. :-)
Love it! :o)
As I am sure you would all have pointed out on any other poll, we'll have to wait and see for the election proper. But I shouldn't be surprised if the Brexit Party does well. Crossing my fingers that the other side of the Brexit divide, ie TIG, does equally well, or at least as near as dammit.
I hope they fall flat on their faces.
So do I Naomi.

The only reason we are in this mess is people like them loosing then wanting their way.
Absolutely!
Gosh, what a surprise.
Jim, do you seriously want to live in a country that holds a referendum, promises to respect it and doesn't?
Yes, Pixie, he does.
Hmmmmmm.
jim //Crossing my fingers that the other side of the Brexit divide, ie TIG, does equally well,//

Good God, why?
The Conservatives kicked it all off, their promise, and you expect it to be delivered.

They're politicians for goodness sake, professional liars and con- persons to a man and woman.

People should take a deep breath, if only to oxygenate the brain.
Leading question much, Pixie?
I don't expect anything from politicians, frankly. But now they have promised, they are going to have to. It would be political suicide otherwise.
In essence, Khandro, for the same reason you want the Brexit Party to win, only the other way round.
A yes or no is fine, Jim. You either are or aren't.
Douglas, //The Conservatives kicked it all off, their promise, and you expect it to be delivered. //

Experience indicates that Conservative, Labour, or the Uncle Tom Cobbley party, none of them would have delivered. Disingenuous to a fault - the lot of them.
I have no interest in answering a question that's phrased in such a transparently one-sided way. I don't want to live in a country where decisions are implemented for their own sake even thought they are transparently poor for the long-term future of the country. I can see of course that overturning the referendum result of 2016 without going back to the people will also be seriously damaging, but there is at least one more alternative open, namely returning the question, or some variation of it, to the people. As I've explained countless times, there is nothing undemocratic or disrespectful about that.
