Apparently his price for accepting the poisoned chalice is to regenotiate the current deal.

May can't accept those terms, can she?

only that someone just posted the fact that Gove is 12/1 on for the top job and that Raab is the favourite.
No point in carrying on with a plan that won't get through the House, so that's a given. But the question is whether he would change it significantly. Don't see it myself.
Who is he kidding? In four months?! Less than, in fact, because it's generally accepted that there's basically no time left to sort out all of the obligations associated with a deal before March 29th.

the deal is supposed to be accepted by all the member states by 25th November, 10 days from now, so we don't have a lot of time left to change things now.
