(sorry, just wanted to be the first to post in this sub-topic-section-category-thingy.)
yes, it all appears to be a little out of control!
Well if anyone wants to help out in Goverment it'd be useful... at least two confused people in there!
Not sure I like all these subcategories, at least not for the News section
I think John Prescott has current affairs with his secretaries.
Clinton certainly had a cosy current affair at the time - I bet his cigar smells a bit mouldy by now though!
Do you think Blunkett has ever sh@gged his dog
I would imagine this section is just for posting high tides and so on. Some less literate contributors might also see it as a place to debate sultanas.
I once had an affair with a current! (I'll let somebody else finish the old joke).
I can't see the point in the 3 categories on the news section. i.e. Current affairs is News and Government is Politics.

If the idea is to cut down on the numourous posts regarding News items, then why not split it into 2 sections Serious intelligent questions & those others?

Good idea, oldgit, the two categories should be;

News - Current Affairs

&

News - Lonnie, anotheoldgit & admarlow's Liberal Guide to Islam.
