When you look at the billions of pounds the government have spent in the last few months. Why on earth have they over the last ten years made so many cuts to the police force, and let it dwindle almost to the point that they cannot keep up with the ever increasing crime rates.
I never ever see a police patrol on foot anywhere, apart from when full lock down was on, what was the point of that when everyone was more or less off the streets anyhow due to pubs and clubs, none food shops were closed. Now they've disappeared again. We are asked to protect the NHS, thats a strange ask anyhow, but there seems to be less and less protection for us from the police force.

It's the usual brain-dead argument "There's no crime so we don't need any police". They don't realise there's no crime BECAUSE there are police about. Some brain-dead was asking the other day why the Swiss had an army when they are a neutral country.
why is being asked to protect the NHS a strange ask?

16.09 May be I should have said they've also neglected that, and its there to protect us, not the other way round. What next, we protecting the police.
Exactly one week ago a low-life scum was arrested for possession of illegal ammunition, unlawful possession of drugs with intent to supply and was subsequently found to be carrying an illegally held firearm supplied by another scumbag and murdered a Police Sergeant.
These officers didn't make this arrest and sacrifice for their own amusement. It was made to keep the likes of you ,TC ,safe on our streets.
And the general public have spent YEARS (yes I worked there) misusing the NHS. If I had been creating the slogan, it would have been more like "And finally stop (insert obscene adverb of your choice here) misusing the NHS and wasting resource you bunch of (insert your choice of obscene adjective here)(insert your choice of obscene collective noun here)

retro, I'm not talking about one incident, in general across the UK for the last ten years. Besides I don't know, or if anyone else does of what went wrong there so I won't comment until such time I do.
Teacake point one files are still mostly paper and therefore not shareable in any kind of hurry, point two is that NHS facilities can’t ban timewasters in case this time the problem is real.
um yeah ish
//point two is that NHS facilities can’t ban timewasters in case this time the problem is real.//
is testable in these days of real science

The ambulance service award frequent flier cards to over users. As in we WON'T come and get you as you have over used the system. A nighbour got one - - and died within six months. Real I said I was ill stuff. and I wondered what proportion of those award frequent flier status are dead within say 12 m.

Point taken, but if I was phoning my GP every other week, about something and nothing, I'm sure he would soon get to know I was a time waster/ looking for constant attention, or turning up at A&E drunk every other night, I'm sure A&E staff see this night after night with the same people. Pop them in a cell, not a hospital bed.
seriously PP? frequent flyer cards? how did you find that out?
