I can substantiate the statement made in the first paragraph ..... my missus works for Aldi and the other day, the staff were informed that March was the best month ever .... even surpassing the usual mad rush in December, for the pre Xmas and New Year stockpiling frenzy.

There must be a slowing down because folk only have so much money and the waste we have seen so far is incredible.
