Some friends have asked us to join them (in a box no less) at the Bradford Alhambra next month. We don't usually go to theatres but we said we'd go Mr A is very reluctant. I believe it's 60's music, that's why MrA is going. Have we any theatre goers here. What have you enjoyed?

Didn't know it was so popular to have CD's. Hope it's good I'll get him the CD's for Christmas. lol
It will be a good nosalgia fest - if he likes the music of the era, he will enjoy the show.

Take him to see 'Jersey Boys' - awesome!
When you say box......I hope you don't mean a coffin

Mrs O I think I'll be like the Queen at the Royal Command Performance, never been in a box before, but being the Bradford Alhambra you never know! lol. I've heard that Jersey Boys is good, andy I seem to remember reading that it was someones life story. I haven't seen it advertised as showing anywhere in our area. If it turns out to be enjoyable it may be something we'll do again.
it is a fantastic show ayg, totally recommend it
The Alhambra is a beautiful theatre - I take the kids to the National Museum of Film, Tv etc every year and always stand and admire the theatre

Unfortunately I had a traumatic experience in that theatre as a child - I was taken to Mike & Bernie Winters in panto.
we went last year, you will be up dancing in the aisles...honestly!
You're right - Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Vali and The Four Seasons, and it fabulous!

It is only in london at the moment - hopefully it will tour, but it's worth the trip down if you can get to see it.
if I knew where you lived ayg I would happily send you all 3 CDs from the show..fantastica!!

It's surprising redhelen, my daughter was born in 1970 and she likes the music of the 50's and 60's too, I couldn't believe when she had the Beatles and a 60's cds in her car.
Bobbie the couple we are going with said they booked the box so that we can dance, they seem to know what to expect. I don't watch Emmerdale but I think I know who Scott is.
he was the guy who was wrongly accused of rape by a young girl while he was holiday, ruining his tv career,,glad he has come back with such vigour ayg
Question Author
Yes I remember him bobbie, nice looking guy (no gut) shame about his tv career.
Yes, the dog was there as well.....horrible slobbery thing
to be fair to Emerdale I think they had to let him go pending a trial but the little weasel(the girl) withdrew such allegations at the 11th hour
