Don't know Eddie Fisher, so don't know what sort of sound you're thinking of. The version I'm most familiar with is the one sung by The Buffalo Bills in the 1964 film of 'The Music Man'. It was done in counterpoint with a Shirley Jones solo.
r u thinking of Andy Williams ?
