Singin' the Blues

Cliff Richard and the Shadows new Single'' Singin the Blues'' sounds very much like status Quo. Does anyone know if in fact it was also recorded by them. The new version sounds great.

it sounds very like a version done my dave edmunds in the late 70s
i still have no idea if quo ever put it on disc tho
