How about:-
Silent night,Sound of Silence and Nights in White Satin all by The Dickies. They are the best band in the universe!!!!
'Pleasant Valley Sunday' by The Wedding Present
'Hounds of Love' by The Futureheads
The boys of summer by the Ataris

Nelly the elephant by the Toy Dolls
Streets Of London - Anti Nowhere League
My Way - Sex Pistols
Me First & The Gimme Gimmies have loads of albums, all of which are faster punked up rock covers, the albums range from 60's, 70's, 80's, Country, showtunes. etc, they even have somewhere over the rainbow. Have a look on youtube for a cover of R Kelly's, I believe i can fly, superb.
Red River Rock (ex-Red River Valley) Johnny & the Hurricanes
Type in a search for a few titles online (Google?) and you're sure to find a lot ... like Swing Bands playing old standards etc ... Glen(n) Miller (Little Brown Jug) ... and Rocked-up versions of the Classics like Bee Bumble and the Stingers playing (I think Tchaikovsky's) A-Minor Piano Concerto and calling it ASIA Minor ( or similar!) ... Another good source would be to look at Jazz players (say guitarists ) playing standards ... try Oscar Peterson ... even Winifred Attwell ... and I've heard several bands / jazz players doing Beatles stuff much faster than original tempo ... YESTERDAY, Norwegian Wood, etc.
Swanee River Boogie woogie is another ..... and I now remember B (or Bee) Bumble and the Stingers did a great thing from the Classics called NUT ROCKER ... (Tchaik's Nutcracker Suite!)
A good idea as I see, it is to go to your local Pub/Social club and check out the Bands/Groups , you can be sure they will be playing all songs ,that they do, at the wrong speed ,normally faster by a long way.
I shall return with some serious addditions to this list.
Thank you and Goodnight.
