Why do I despise Chris Martin so much???

I like Radiohead and other similar indie/rock bands and to be honest, on paper, I should like Coldplay.

But why do I despise Chris Martin to the point I can't even look at him.

Does anybody else feel like this and/or offer an explanation for this attitude?

Abdul, did you just see those two adverts back to back for Coldplay and Radiohead too? LOL

I have never taken to him either, though I do like their music. I think it's because he comes across as a bit self righteous. He might be nothing of the sort, but it's how I perceive him anyway.

Because he's so goddamn smug.

And he's married to Paltrow.

And he calls his kids stupid names.

And he's AOR MOR, Phil Collins for the noughties, not experimental like Radiohead or earthy like Elbow.

Thank you Philtaz. I have watched it and you are right, I have re-evaluated my opinion.

Not only do I despise him, I now wish him serious harm and suffering for the rest of his miserable life.
