i'm really excited!
mum in law has offered to babysit tomorrow and as there's nothing on at the flicks, i checked out local theatres.
"The ELO Experience" is on at the opera House and I managed to get tickets.
I was a MASSIVE fan of these when I was younger.
Anyone seen it? I don't really know what to expect.
I am a bit worried that I'll be disappointed but I'll never see the real thing now will I?!

it looks like i'm in for a good night!

I actually can't remember the last "gig" (do they still call them that?) I went to.

It was a very long time ago!
Yes crisgal, I believe that the events comprising popular beat combos performing on stage are still referred to as 'gigs'. ;>)
fantastic crisgal!...have a good time, please come back & let us know what they were like...

i'm back!

They were really good!

It was like listening to the records!
First gig I've been to where i knew every single song!
The lead singer's voice was very like Jeff lynns - which obviously helped.
Sadly no violins, but the keyboard provided all the necessaries. They did have two electric cellos though!

I would recommend them to any ELO fans, and would definately go to see them again.
