It is a well known fact that Johnny Depp based his Jack Sparrow on Keith Richards, however I have evidence to suggest it was based on David Bowie. It only lasts two minutes but listen to the voice before he sings and see if you share my opinion.

no that was Jim Bowie (pronounced Booey),m he was killed at the Alamo , a kentuckian i beleive.
