In case you're searching for this it was by Manfred Mann's Earth Band as the group was known for all their chart hits from '73 onwards....original vocalist Paul Jones (now a radio 2 presenter) had left and been replaced by Mike D'Abo...Blinded By The Light got to Number 6 in Aug '76.
