A couple of years ago i heard an interview on the Jonathon Ross sradio show with a man who sang modern cover versions Such as Nirvana's 'come as you are' in the style of Elvis. I think he used the the moniker of the king but i can find no details about him anywhere.

He called himself "The King". Don't have any info on him, but my mate had a CD of songs he'd recorded which he passed this onto another mate of mine ( an Elvis fan ) who, incredibly, thought that it was Elvis singing!! To this day he still thinks Elvis did a version of "Come as you are", much to my friend and I's amusement
I think it is The King and the CD is called Gravelands which was a follow up to Return to Spendor
