What group sang?

I don't know the name of this group or the song but it came out between 1994 and 1997. The alternative band was/is a Florida band and when I think of them I think of Seven Mary Three but it's not. The song I'm thinking of is about the singer comparing himself to a spider and being able to live through falling from the ceiling and squeezing between the cracks of the sidewalks or concrete. Any help would be great. It's driving me crazy!!
