"Song" From 1998

hi, was wondering if anyone could list the nmb 1 hits from 1998.

i am looking for a "song" which was constantly on play during the world cup 98, but i am pretty sure this was not one of the anthems. it had a sort of carnival vibe to it and i think the word "sunshine" was in the title of the "song" or the band name.

*"song" because i can't remember whether there was any lyrics to this!

Dario G - Sunchyme

You might be thinking of Dario-G. The '97 hit single Sunchyme but their follow up single Carnival De Paris became a '98 World Cup theme.

Dario G also had a hit with "Sunmachine" in '98 but as 4getmenot points out "Carnaval De Paris" was a WC anthem. None of these three tracks reached number 1 - Sunchyme got to no.2 in '97; Carnaval, no.5; and Sunmachine, no. 17
