Modern day pop music
I am a 22 year old classically trained musician about to embark on a PGCE course. Although I listen to radio 1 a lot I am not that clued up on what all the different types are and how to differentiate them, ie hip-hop, rave, dance, pop, rock etc. I enjoy all kinds but need to know what they are. Examples of singers and groups woud be helpful as well! Thank you!

You can select by genre. It'll hopefully give you an understanding of modern music 'styles'.
