Not an expert, but Bad To The Bone by George Thorogood And The Destroyers appears in Terminator 2, Talk Radio, The Parent Trap, Christine, and The Color Of Money, but it's not the most-used - see here http://www.fortheretarded.com/moviemusic.phphttp://www.fortheretarded.com/moviemusic.php ffor the definitive list.
I would have thought "Happy Birthday" was up there somewhere.
What about 'Oh Yeah' by Yello? that has been in a good few, although most titles escape me right now!
I think Buffalo Springfields 'For what it's worth' is in everyVietnam war movie ever. But it is good so fair play.
Pippa68 - the track you refer to by Yello is The Race.
Nope ~ it's 'Oh Yeah'...honestly! 'The Race' is a different track, & no doubt has also been in several movies :o)

Aha....found this review for 'Ferris Bs Day Off'

It mentions 'Oh Yeah' & how it seemed to be ''around a lot at the time''. It was also in 'The Secret Of My Success' & I am pretty certain I have heard it in other films too. It got to the stage where I would groan ''Oh no, not Oh yeah again'' (although I do love the track!)

it is oh yeah by yello, i thought i would back you up pippa68. What a truly random song, hee hee its great! xx
i can remember that 'oh yeah' was used in k9 with james belushi.

Hmmmmm ~ that's at least 3 films it has been in then! thanks for reminding me about K9 souldriver.

And thanks for letting me know I am not going mental Noddi_92 :o)
