He'll be getting some good vibrations now! RIP

RIP. His music legacy is immense ...

So sad to hear. He and his brothers made great songs, and beautiful harmonies together. RIP Brian

Sad, Love the Beach Boys. First cassette I ever bought "20 Golden Greats". If you have time, check out the Beach Boys with the Philharmonic Orchestra on YouTube, fantastic adaptations.

I saw them at the Birmingham Odeon in the late 60s, not my choice but it was a fab night

RIP Brian. And many thanks for some brilliant stuff back in the day.

RIP  Brian - Some great songs and definitely the sound of summer.

Definitely the sound of summer, as appropriately mentioned by Fibonacci.

Noel Gallagher called them "nothing more than barber shop singers". Subtle as a bucket of manure as usual.

Saw him in sheffield in 2019 (I think).

The Beach Boys' music was original and uplifting - a key sound of the sixties. So glad to have seen him on his Pet Sounds tour in 2002.

Ahh I missed this thread looked through CB, instead.
