Not because of the artist, the lyrics. I can think of two at the moment. Goodness gracious me by Sophia Loren and Peter sellers. Jilted john by jilted john. Probably also young girl by Gary pucket.

Melting Pot by Blue Mink

There is nothing wrong with Young Girl.  She lied about her age and when he found out he sent her packing.

Young girls.   Sparks

And pretty much everything by Gary glitter

Never Do a Tango with an Eskimo - Alma Cogan.

Eskimo is considered offensive now, although some still refer to themselves as Eskimo.

In the Summertime, Munjo Jerry because of the line 'have a drink, have a drive', not 'if her daddy's poor you can do what you feel'.

Big 6, Big 7, Big 8, Big 10, in fact, almost everything by Judge Dread.

I`ve recently heard In The Summertime and Young Girl played on local radio.

I shot the sheriff.

Jeepster by T Rex because of the last line maybe.   It was banned straight away in South Africa when it came out.

Olivers' Army has been doctored for radio to omit the lines:

All it takes is one itchy trigger

One more widow one less white n****r.

They just replay the lines:

Call careers information

Have you got yourself an occupation?

Although on YouTube the original full version is available.

Oh my, how could I forget Judge Dread

Judge Dread is tame compared to rap etc

A good selection here:

My own suggestion for the list:

Milk and Alcohol possibly

They just seem to beep/skip the offending lyrics these days. Money for nothing by Dire Straits was on the radio and the offending fa***t line was missing. Half the rubbish my children listen to is about s£x/drugs/violence and suchlike and they get airtime perhaps with an odd word removed.

Lana Del Ray possibly in her song Cola in the first line she claims her cat tastes of cherry cola.

Island Girl by Elton John - it's not been in his set list since 1990.

So hypocritical, all these in case they upset our new found sensitivities and yet we are now so liberal that we can her the c word on TV and in film almost daily, violence and gore beyond comprehension, the F  word on radio 4 etc etc Seriously 🤣 It *** me off!!!
