I saw them on stage a few years ago. Superb. Real professionals. The musicians of those days certainly had something special. I wonder how many of today's singers and bands will be packing out houses and playing Glastonbury in going on 70 years time?

Have you seen 'Let it be' - the Beatles story told in their music? I went to see that with the girls and we had a great night. It was like one great big party - everyone up and dancing.
No, we haven't seen that one, we would enjoy it though. I never got in to the tribute bands but we have seen The Zoots a lot. They are not a tribute band as they cover a wide range of artists and have great energy. If they are ever near where you happen to be, they are worth seeing. They are mainly down south but I have seen them in the midlands.
Clone - the soaring vocal on one syllable, the jangling guitar figure, the harmonies, they all lift the song above the standard setting and atmosphere of songs at that time.
But that's just what I hear, clearly you hear something different, which is the joy of music, we all hear what is special to us.
