70S One Hit Wonder Pop Star…

All I can remember (I have his video playing in my head…silently unfortunately) is that he was a one hit wonder type of artist. 70s, Black, curly long bob, wore makeup and went by a ‘one name’ name. It’s driving me mad! Any suggestions? Cheers x

Pretty much was. You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) was Sylvester's only Top 20 hit. His previous single Dance (Disco Heat) got to number 29. Other than those, his other eight singles didn't crack the Top 30.

Died of AIDS-related neuropathy at the age of 41.
