Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

My apologies . I did read that but was just working through my ‘ to finish ‘ pile and didn’t notice that that was the one that said that .usually I asterisk that in pencil at the top but on this occasion I hadn’t done it . Forget it . I will ask after that date ...... unless I’m now black- listed !

You'll get the first one before 21st May mrsmaggot. Its a well known song that flopped the first time and was then rereleased and made top20.. The song were an even bigger hit when someone more famous covered it a few year's later. Am not sure his truely a one hit wonder as he had another minor top40 hit. Good luck.

Bobbinwales - Thank you for that info .....from your info, I think I may have got it now ... but it was never actually a “ hit “ at all as far as I can see.
Am I correct that the first version was by MC who wrote it (autobiographical ) and sang it in 1991. Then it was covered by C*** in 1995 but not a hit for her either ? Then covered by an American band again in 2003 but not a hit for them either ?
