It's so hard to make out any tune or lyrics behind all the noise in the forground. Some say on the youtube comments its German some english. It sounds at the wrong speed at times. Am curious what the reason is for wanting to know???
MarisaBanks, I'm unable to identify it too, like bobbinwales asks, why do you want to know? Reply???
No idea. It has a Gorillaz vibe to it.
sounds like something being played backwards to me.
Is it a song? Just sounds like a cacophony to me.
A way to get clicks for the youtube channel?

I don't know how to reply to certain users. I only want to know the title/author of the song because it sounds catchy to me and would really love to hear the full thing in higher quality.
I can't really get a tune or song from it, did you just come across it? Perhaps it was during a search for something else you made so maybe backtracking your lead up to it will give clues?
Hi. You cant reply to us individualy , you just reply to everyone whose looking in just like you done.
Where did you hear the song in the first place and where did you find this recording. It just seems odd to come across this very muffled sound and think wow that sounds great when theres so much great music around
Kinks - I'm an ape man

Lostwave by Level Eight
or maybe not!
Look at top left had corner
maybe is the Kinks but played backwards at 33 instead of 45 rpm
According to Google, there's an 11% chance it's this ...

It is Lostwave by level eight & is on Youtube.

It was found in a box of cassettes at a random yard-sale in Northern England. I and a few others are looking for it, hence the YouTube video, but so far; the search for the song proved fruitless. The tape was not labelled and only had a hand-written number "4" on it. We think it might be a local band from Northern England, possibly even a rehearsal session or a tape of a live recording, but it does seem well-produced despite the horrendous quality of it. From what I know, the genre(s) could be Reggae Dub, Trip-hop, Hip-hop, Funk, Blues, Jazz...
But it sounds nothing like Lostwave level 8. Think the youtube title is a red herring
