Stuck with three letters to find :-(

12A. Strain wrong for toughened glass (5) I have silt-, but only the s and t are definite.

19A. Stiff points, with being returned got up mostly (6) mi-ros, only the r and s are certain.

6? Rock overturned a circus vehicle (4) - aga, only the g guaranteed.

12a Silex - 'sile' (to strain) + 'x' (wrong) (?)
19a Mucros - 'cum' (with, returned) + 'ros(e)' (mostly)

Blimey. I would never have got either of those.

That should give me the letters I need for the female name. Thank you, as ever.
6 Biga ?

Gib (rock of Gibraltar) overturned = Big + a

A chariot (vehicle)

I'm not getting the Circus bit though.

Aargh! I like silex and mucros, but that neans I have 4D and / or 15 A wrong.

4D. Old harvesting tool, this cut around middle of cereals (5)

15A. Returning comments on school performance, head dropped e.g. irony.

I had sithe and trope, with the letter midway between h and p giving an l, but that would mean sithe having two wrong letters (apologies for anyone who doesn't have the full instructions)
^used in Circus maximus for example
Thanks Calibax. That would make sense if my offer is correct
Question Author
Yeah, biga looks excellent, thank you both. Edging closer :-)
