I`ve heard this many times but can`t fathom where it`s from. This is my version of the tune - not the original. Hear it on this link:-

Could 'over ground' .... be in the lyrics?
It's not The Wombles! Joking
Ha ha!!
Or 'over time'?
My senses are working overtime.
I may have to leave it until the morning.
I've been thinking of Randy Edelman, Clifford T Ward, George Benson- someone from 70s/early 80s
It would help if you could just play the last 25% of this and put it on a loop
I was thinking along the lines of Bill Withers/Lou Rawles but the more I hear it, the more I think it's an American TV theme.

Thanks folks for all your efforts - it`ll take me a while to check out all these suggestions, so bear with me.
It isn't, as it's unlikely to have been something you've heard many times, but it reminded me of this intro.

Sorry folks, I`ve tried every suggestion here to no avail. I know it exists. I also know that the version I play is at least 95% correct. I`m determined to find the answer which I`ll post here when I get it. In the meantime I`ll keep a check here in case anyone does get it.
Many thanks for your efforts.

Any more ideas , 711?
Have no idea but reminded me of -
