It's father's day on Sunday and I can't get out to buy him anything. I'm limited to the likes of Amazon.

He's a massive Oasis fan and he collects Vinyl - so any recommendations would be gratefully appreciated.

I cannot remember if I previously bought him Led Zepellin IV on vinyl, if not, I'd like to. I really, really can't remember...

Thanks anyway.

Oh okay ... I was going to plump for What's The Story, Morning Glory?

I don't know whether to get him both?

That's only his opinion LCG - reminds him of his lost youth I think:-))

I've gone for What's The Story as the reviews are good and Led Zepellin 4. I checked all my orders over the last 3 years and I definitely haven't bought those before.

I did buy him a rare limited edition Rolling Stones vinyl compilation from a market in the Jewish Quarter in Krakow. I'd forgotten all about that.

Need to beware, if he's a fan & collector, that he doesn't already own whatever you are considering. Do they still sell record tokens ?
He should be pleased with those.

No he doesn't own them, OG. He hasn't been collecting them that long and certainly hasn't bought any himself in the last couple of years...
I'm with Margo's son on this one. Definitely Maybe is just oozing with energy and angst, like a 90's Clash, Morning Glory is more polished, better production, but despite the familiarity of the songs (Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, Some Might Say) it's not half the album of it's predecessor.
