Never usually have the TV on during the day but we recorded this on Sky Arts, I've watched many documentaries about him but this was a truly in depth look into the great man's career, we have sat with a coffee and toasted crumpets on this cool,windy afternoon enjoying this, well worth a watch

I've never seen what was meant to be so great about Sinatra either. While there are a few recordings of his that do stand out, most of the time he sounded no better than an average pub singer to me.

Give me Bing Crosby any day! (A nasty man but a world class crooner).

You must be joking Baz - wonderful singer who stood the test of time over the decades. There have been, and still are, many wonderful singers, but FS is still number one in my book.
