I would love to have seen Queen but that's certainly never happening :(
I've seen just about everyone my friends/partners wanted to see but not my choices. I'd love to have seen (in their day) Fleetwood Mac, Take That, The Stranglers, The Pretenders and Genesis.

I would love to have seen Queen as well.
Would have loved to have seen Earth Wind And Fire.
I saw queen in 1975. Would have loved to have seen Bowie
Question Author
I saw Fleetwood Mac (around 2003 I think) when they had Lindsay Buckingham with them. They are touring again now but the tickets will be on sale for 4 x the price on ebay

I saw Earth Wind and Fire at the Happy Days Festival in the summer. They were great. They just managed to get off the stage before the mother of all thunderstorms blew up
I should imagine they put on a great show, 237SJ.
Will always regret not going to see Queen when they came to Dundee in 1975.
I saw them in Glasgow maggiebee
Question Author
Yes they were great. Gloria Gaynor came on afterwards. Might have
been best if she didn't bother.
Can't remember the year but one summer I saw The Stones, Queen and Fleetwood Mac over a period of about 8 weeks at Maine Road Manchester (City's old ground) - that was memorable.

May sem a bit oddball but I really want to go to an evening of Choral Music by the likes of Kings College Cambridge or The Tenebrae Choir in a suitable setting.
I have to admit to resorting to Wikipedia to remind myself of some of Tears for Fears' hits, so (obviously) I won't be rushing to see them.

Bands I would love to have seen, but alas who're no longer together, include Dire Straits and Bellowhead. I can't think of many groups that I'd really rush to see at the moment except perhaps for Buena Vista Social Club, The Lumineers or Café Tacuba.
...yeah and Bowie, and Jethro Tull in their heyday, and Free and The Doors and basically everyone who appears to have been dead before I was born apparently now I think.
I did manage to see Lou Reed, Tom petty and Ry Cooder among others so happy over all
I was going to see TfF but the Fokkers cancelled Leeds arena last year. Grrrrrrr.
Question Author
I'd like to have seen Genesis. I know people think they are pretentious but I like them.
I had just discovered Cream when they announced they were splitting up; now that was one gig I would have loved to see (did see Jack Bruce though as part of West, Bruce and Laing)
Might have
been best if she didn't bother.

Yeah, not very good live is she.

I saw Free live in Walsall just before Alright now was released. I was amongst the first to hear it. Paul Rodgers said 'This is the song from our new album that the record company are going to release as a single, see what you think'.
Question Author
Wasn't Ginger Baker the drummer in Cream? His daugher (Nettie) has written an autobiog about her life growing up with him. Should be interesting
