I’m currently working for a small immigration company. I did a work trial on the 19th February but I officially started on the 1st March, which is when I signed my contract. My contract does not specify a pay date but it does state that I will be paid each month by bank transfer. At the end of March I was told that the company was unable to pay me on time due to a Bank holiday and I would be paid next week Tuesday which was April. This month I was told that they were unable to process my pay as the person who does payroll was away and will not be back until the 3rd which is now a new month. Also I did a work trial for this company but I wasn’t paid for this, I’m not sure what steps to take but it’s frustrating as I do have financial commitments. Can someone advise on the right steps to take?

If I were you ( besides looking for another job ) I'd give these a ring to see how you stand.
