Chris Cornell sadly passed away after a concert in Detroit last night. He was the frontman of bands Soundgarden and Audioslave. Any fans among us? I'm quite partial to the song he did for Casino Royale:

I've never heard of him, but I googled. Born 1964. Too young to die.

Gutted to hear this news this morning. Fantastic vocalist.

Add his demise to the list of prominent 'grunge' band front men no longer with us: Layne Staley (Alice in Chains), Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots) and now Chris Cornell. Just Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) left.
