I liked their music until they declared themselves 'a supergroup' - never understood the meaning of that.
However I do like this

We went to a Moody Blues concert a few months ago and really enjoyed it.
I absolutely can't bear Nights in White Satin.

I have to retune if it comes on.

I am without doubt a massive Moodies fan going back to seeing them at the 'Belfry' in Sutton Coldfield around 1972 ish., yes this long before the Belfry became a golf centre.

The core seven albums are what were called concept albums, ie each track followed on from the previous thus making up a complete story. While certain tracks stand on their own (Nights In White Satin) others have been lost......I bring you one of the best 'lost 'tracks, lay back, chill out cast your mind back to an age when you had no responsibilities just dreams....

Moody Blues?
Oh yes!
Tonight on Mamya's thread?
Think we've had most of them here Daisy

(I've moved on to Leonard Cohen)

I loved them in their (and my) early years, haven't kept up but still thoroughly enjoy their earlier output (lost track inthe'80's).
Murray, strictly speaking, Forever Autumn isn't the moody blues. It's Jeff Wayne's composition sung by Justin Hayward.
indeed Zac ! nice nevertheless !!
bit like fleetwood Zacs..Pete Green's Fleetwood in another class to today's line up !!
Oh yes. PG was a genius. Bit like comparing Peter Gabriel with Phil Collins.
I actually prefer this version of Go Now
