A seriously long time ago, I saw JA as a support act, opening for Supertramp. She had just started out, but she already had the calm gravitas that all acoustic performers need to hold an audience.

Saw her again about twenty years ago, and she had developed all that early raw talent into a seriously powerful on-stage persona.

I am sure you will have a great time - enjoy it.

I haven't seen her, but wish I could. Is she coming to anywhere near Sheffield? BTW, I think Tracey Chapman nicked a lot of her act, IMHO.

margo,sam was brilliant,i loved it,he had the audience in his hands,sang all his hits.do you know I thought he was a sturdy chappie and that's not the case,he had on a lovely suit and multi-coloured shirt,he looked fab,i would go back and see him again

I am glad you enjoyed it I though he would be good. Just read an article which said he had lost over a stone in two weeks, with the help of somebody called Amelia Freer. She has also help Boy George and James Corden to lose a stone and a half and two stone respectively. I need to see her!
