A band must 'accompany' not drown out the vocalist. Perhaps some direction for each musician to skill a bar should suffice. Pls ask the drummer to pad the foot beat as it sounds tinny. Try an Elkie Brookes number

By the way, recently saw a band cover Blondie's 'X-Offender'. They pulled it off perfectly musically, but the vocal was lacking lots. Without doubt your voice will suit this track...but you'll need keyboards in the mix.
