Did anyone else happen to watch the new idea of"Comic Opera" night
at The Proms - led by Tim Minchin(a quite accomplished Pianist,btw)

It seemed to go very well with the audience,catch it on BBC iPlayer!

I hope they do something similar next year!

Really enjoyed it, I'm glad Tim sang "It's not perfect" at the end, or I might have been a bit disappionted....
Bill Bailey should do one....
Sounds good, i'll have to watch it later. I'd love to see Tim live, I wonder when he'll be in Scotland again....
You'll need to keep an eye on his website. His shows sell out extremely quickly...
Brilliant - one of the best things on TV this year and the Beardy Man was seriously awesome.....

Bill Bailey has done something which may be similar. It is called 'Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra'. Available as DVD.
I do hope that this becomes an annual prom, as long as it remains as fresh as this one..........
